Conv., 64, of 325 Quemahoning St., Boswell, died morning of June 3, 1981, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born Oct. 25, 1916, in Yorkville, N.Y., son of Stephan and Sophie (Borowik) Wolkonowski. Preceded in death by parents; one brother, Donald. Survived by these brothers and sisters: Chester and the Rev. Lawrence, O.F.M. Conv., both of Boswell; Edward, Frank, Mrs. Pearl Kusak and Mrs. Harriet Miller, all of Rochester, N.Y.; also several nieces and nephews. Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Boswell, and St. Joseph Mission, Jenners. Graduate of St. Hyacinth College Seminary, Grandby, Mass.; entered Order of Franciscan Conventual Sept. 19, 1937; ordained into priesthood May 1, 1944. Associate pastor at parishes in Alburn, N.Y.; Buffalo, N.Y.; Riverside, N.J.; Holyoke, Mass.; Shamokin, Pa.; Clifton, N.J.; Baltimore, Md. From 1973 until 1979 was pastor and guardian of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, South Boston, Mass. Was in local residence since Aug. 1979. Exporta: Thursday 7 p.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, after which body will lie in state for viewing until 10 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Friday. Visitation (no viewing) from 10 a.m. Saturday until noon, when Mass of Christian Burial will be held, the Very Rev. Marion Tolczyk, O.F.M. Conv., Minister Provincial of the Franciscan Fathers, officiating. Interment, church cemetery. Wake service at 7 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Franciscan Education Burse, care of St. Stanislaus Rectory, Boswell. Arrangements in charge of the Hoffman Funeral Home, Boswell.
