    HELEN L. WOOD
    
      Helen Long Wood, 75, of Rockwood RD 3, died May 9 at Presbyterian
  University Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born March 16, 1904 in Petersville
  [sic?], Va., she was a daughter of Ralph Eugene and Helen Alberta
  (Carey) Long.
      She was preceded in death by husband, John Paul Wood.
      She is survived by daughter, Helen W. Ross of Hagerstown, Md. and
  Sue Ann Flowers, of McKeesport, six grandchildren and four
  great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by brother, John C. Long
  of Rosemead, Cal.; sisters, Elizabeth Voorhees and Patrice St. Pierre
  both of Tucson, Ariz.; and Marguerite Slayman of Harper's Ferry, W.Va.
      She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Order of
  Amaranah, Lu Mar Court 83, Ladies Syria Caravan 4; American
  Association of Retired Persons and Historical Society of Somerset
  County.
      Friends were received at the Finney Funeral Home, McKeesport. 
  Funeral services were held with the Rev. J. Nicholas Mager Jr.,
  officiating.  Interment, McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery.
