    Katherine J. Woods, 97, of Irvine, Calif, formerly of Ursina, died
  Dec. 12, 1972, in Irvine.  She was born March 1, 1873, in Bedford,
  the daughter of Abel and Jennie Walker Thompson.  
    She is survived by a niece, A???elle ????, of Irvine, Calif.
    Funeral service was conducted Monday afternoon in Humbert Funeral
  Home, Confluence, with Rev. Gordon Edwards officiating.
