Woy, 93, of 5501 Vintage Dr., Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Jennerstown, died Jan. 10, 1990, at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis. Born July 1, 1896, in Westmoreland County, son of Edward and Ida (Swank) Woy. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Irene B. Rhoads, died Dec. 15, 1970; sons: Howard, missing in action during World War II, and Richard, died Jan. 14, 1981; sisters: Catherine Brinkman, Edna Emert and Myrtle Barron, and brothers, Earl and Pius. Survived by daughter, Lois, wife of James S. Heffley, Indianapolis; granddaughter, Susan Hill; grandson, Eric Heffley. Brother of Richard, Rock Island, Ill.; Mabel Milliken, Clearwater, Fla., and Mildred Lee, Harrisburg. Member of Mt. Lauren United Church of Christ. Army veteran of World War I. Co-founder and operator of Woy Brothers, former Chrysler-Plymouth agency, Acosta, until retirement in 1952. Friends received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Joseph M. Beer officiating.
