MARY ZINN WOY

  Mrs. Mary Z. Woy, 73, of Somerset died unexpectedly at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday at 
the Community Hospital.  Her death was attributed to coronary embolism.  She had 
undergone a major operation nearly two weeks ago.
  Mrs. Woy was a daughter of Henry and Magdaline (Ackerman) Zinn and was born at 
Berkley's Mills, July 26, 1872.  She was married in 1891 to Frank Woy, a well-
known lumberman and farmer, of Somerset, who died about six years ago.
  Surviving are four daughters - Mrs. Merle D. Snyder, Breezewood; Mrs. John J. 
Fluck, Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. Luther W. Bittner, Somerset, and Mrs. Ernest L. 
Trent, Somerset.  Six grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Emma Ridinger, Swissvale, 
also survive.  A brother, John Zinn, and a sister, Mrs. Horace Long, preceded 
her in death.
  Mrs. Woy was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church.  Funeral services will 
be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bittner.  Rev. J. 
Hess Wagner, D.D., will officiate.  Interment will be in the Husband Cemetery 
under direction of the Hoffman Funeral Home.
