Wright, 59, Johnstown RD 5, died unexpectedly April 13, 1989, in Gettysburg. Born Nov. 17, 1929, in Somerset, son of late Charles Roy and Lucinda (Queer) Wright. He was preceded in death by sisters, Martha and Evelyn, and brothers, Leo, Mac and Arty. He is survived by wife, former Lois Jean (Speicher) Palmer-Wright, and these children: Sharon, wife of David Rose, Windber; Barbara, wife of Jake Hass, Florida; Dolores, wife of Patrick Shaffer, Central City; Charles, married to former Cindy Harr, and Deborah, wife of Robert Harr, both of Windber; Janet, wife of Larry Goode, and Richard, married to former Christine Domenick, both of North Carolina; and *****, Joh****** ***** children: William Palmer; Robert, married to former Karen Malzi; Ruth, wife of David White, Walter Palmer; and Sandra, wife of John Hoffman, all of Johnstown; also 32 grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He was a brother of David, Jennerstown; Freeman, married to Delores, Ohio; Ruth, wife of Woodrow Maust, Florida; Viola Golembesky, Central City; and Blanche, wife of William Day, Berlin. He was a member of Teamsters Local 419, Listie; Walnut Grove Hunting & Fishing Club; and Windber BGU. Friends were received at Meek Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Gary Tustin. Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery, Jerome.
