  VIOLET B. (CUSTER) WRIGHT
  
  Violet B. (Custer) Wright, 87, of Homer City, formerly Somerset, died
  Jan. 29, 2004, at Indiana Medical Center.  Born June 30, 1916, in
  Chickentown, Somerset Township, she is the daughter of the late
  Charles and Ella (Bowser) Custer.  Besides her parents, she is
  preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Wright, whom she
  married Aug. 11, 1939; four sisters and six brothers.  Survived by
  children, John R. Wright and wife Kathy of Homer City, Jerry of
  Blacklick, Joan of Penn Run; grandchildren: Jim Wright and wife Susan
  of Homer City, Cheryl Gasior and husband, Bill of Homer City and Larry
  Wright of Homer City; great-grandchildren, Ryan Minniti, son of Cheryl
  Gasior. Violet was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.  She
  attended Bethel Presbyterian Church.  Friends received from noon to 2
  p.m., the time of service on Monday in the Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home, Somerset.  The Rev. Bob Goossen officiating.  Interment
  in St. John's Cemetery.
