Wright, 84, of 316 Freeport Road, Butler, died Tuesday, April 7, 1987, in Butler Memorial Hospital. Born in Elk Lick Township on Nov. 25, 1902, he was the son of the late A. Russell and Anna (Folk) Wright. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Maple Glen Church of the Brethren, Fort Hill. He had resided in the Butler area for 42 years. Surviving are three sons: William J. Wright, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Hobert Wright, Dallas, Texas; and Robert E. Wright, Butler; one daughter, Patricia Wright, Nashville, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Florence Ringer, Grantsville, Md.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md., where services were conducted Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Daniel Whitacre. Interment, Addison Cemetery.
