Wright, 85, of Addison, died Oct. 26, 1998, at Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg. Born Oct. 2, 1913, in Addison, a son of the late Nelson and Annie (Myers) Wright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers George, John and Harry, and sisters Virginia and Blanche. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty (Blubaugh) Wright; two daughters, Betsy Barlow of Addison and Joyce Fako of Pittsburgh. Five grandchildren: Johnny, Gary and Bill Barlow, Brad and Robin Fako and two great-grandchildren, Molly Barlow and Jack Fako. Also a sister, Mary Reis of Somerset. U.S. Army veteran of World War II. A retired contractor who along with his brother Harry owned Wright Brothers of Addison. A life-long member of the Addison United Methodist Church and a former member of Confluence Lions Club, Addison VFW Post 6819, Addison Volunteer Fire Department, and Addison Cemetery Association. Private Interment in Addison Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Addison United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Deb Wasser officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Addison United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 143 Addison, PA 15411.
