"Cowboy" Blaine E. "Cowboy" Wyant, 70, Berlin, died Sept. 26, 2008, at home. Born Apr. 11, 1938, in Berlin, son of Harold and Laura (Fisher) Wyant. Preceded in death by parents; and sister, Nancy Dunmyer. Survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Donna McQuade; children, James, married to the former Cindy Lytle, Berlin; Edward, married to the former Judy Fraley, Meyersdale; Kathy, married to Robert Metheney, Berlin; Harold and friend, Lisa Dively, Somerset; Nancy, married to Rodney Foor, Berlin; grandchildren, Kristopher, Amanda, Joseph and Cory Wyant, Zachery and Zeke Werner, Austin and Bryanna Foor; and five great- grandchildren. Brother of Donna Mae Wyant, Somerset; David Wyant and Diane Engleka, both of Berlin; and Linda Knezovich, Brownsville. Attended Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Johnstown after 37 years. Member of Berlin Brethren Church and New Baltimore Sportsmen's Club. Former member of Somerset Co. Saddle Club and Berlin American Legion Home. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Pastor Gene Oburn officiating.
