Wyant, 62, of Acosta, died June 4, 1987, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Nov. 9, 1924, in Oakland Md., son of the late William H. and Nora (Pritts) Wyant. Preceded in death by parents and a granddaughter, Cathy Wyant. Survived by his wife Shirley (Meyers), Acosta; and his children: Calvin, married to the former Mildred Gindlesperger, and Johnny, married to the former Cathy Seifert, Acosta; Brenda, wife of Alan Pyle, Glenda Wyant, Linda, wife of Kenneth Pyle, and Judy, wife of Samuel Robinson, all of Somerset. Also by his mother-in-law, Mrs. Hamilton (Mabel) Meyers Pyle of Somerset; 11 grandchildren; sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Hoffman, Rockwood; Calvin Wyant, Lansdowne, Pa.; Mrs. Mary Golby and Mrs. Lydia Golby, Chalfont, Pa. and Robert Wyant, Aston, Pa.; Mrs. Lillian Trout, Hatboro, Pa.; and Mrs. Carolina Luox, Doylestown, Pa. His death breaks a marriage union of 39 years. He was a member of UMW Local 1023, Jenners Rod and Gun Club and FOE 1801, Somerset. Friends will be received 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Dale Lyzbicki officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Daily American, June 6, 1987 [W1814]
