  John (Smiler) Wytko, 71, of 183 School Ave., Jerome, DOA Sept. 19,
  1983, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Feb. 12, 1912, in
  Jerome, son of Steve and Kathryn (Havrilak) Wytko Sr.  Preceded in
  death by parents and brother, Steve Jr.  Survived by widow, the
  former Anna Wasil; these children: Joseph, married to the former
  Brenda Wilson, Franklin, Ohio; Richard, Fairfax, Va.; two
  grandchildren, Anna and Calie Wytko.  Brother of Mary, widow of
  Herbert Fuller, and George, both of Jerome; Joseph, Detroit, Mich.;
  and Paul, Warren, Ohio.  Member of SS. Peter and Paul's Byzantine
  Catholic Church, Jerome; UMW of A Local 998, Tire Hill; Greek
  Catholic Union; and Jerome Volunteer Fire Department.  Retired
  employee of Island Creek Coal Co., Tire Hill.  Mr. and Mrs. Wytko
  celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary Feb. 6, 1983.  Friends
  received 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where Panachida will be
  held at 8:15 a.m. Thursday.  Funeral liturgy 9 a.m. Thursday at SS.
  Peter and Paul's Church, Jerome, the Rev. James Spontak.  Interment,
  church cemetery.
