  John Yanus, 75, 121 School St., Jerome, died Nov. 24, 1979 in Mercy Hospital,
  Johntown. Born Feb. 20, 1904 in Uniontown, son of John and Anna (Kushner)
  Yanus. Preceded in death by parents, one brother. Survived by widow, Anna
  Krivanich; two daughters, Margaret, wife of Harry Kutchman; and Wilma, wife
  of Thomas Bitsko, both of Jerome; four grandchildren: Deborah Kutchman;
  Christopher, Laura, and Marl Bitsko. Brother of Anna, Mary, and Michael, all
  of Czechoslovakia. Member of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church,
  Jerome; UMWA, Local 1742, Jenners. Retired miner, formerly employed by
  Hillman Coal and Coke, Jerome, and Secary Coal Co., Tire Hill. Friends were
  received Sunday evening and will be received from noon to 9 p.m. Monday at
  the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where prayer
  service will be held at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday followed by Funeral Mass at 9 a.m.
  at SS Peter and Paul church, with the Rev. Thomas Gran. Interment, church
  cemetery.
