  Kevin E. Yaste, 65, of Stoystown RD 1, DOA Dec. 7, 1996, at Somerset
  Hospital. Born April 24, 1931, in Garrett County, Md. Son of Elmer O. and
  Allie (Burkholder) Yaste. Preceded in death by parents: sister, Doris Walker;
  brothers-in-law, Harry Walker and Jack Weimer. Survived by wife, the former
  Thelma F. Gindlesperger. and children: Karen L., wife of Nathan Appelgate,
  Stoystown RD 1: Kevin L., married to Brenda Edwards, Johnstown. Brother of
  Ethelene Boden, Rockwood RD 1; Evelyn, wife of Harold Weimer, Somerset RD 1;
  Ronald, married to Joyce Sheldon, Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Juanita Weimer,
  Somerset RD 1. Brother-in-law of Marlene Gindlesperger, Stoystown RD 1, and
  Lois, wife of Edward Wilson, Somerset. Also survived by numerous nieces and
  nephews. Member of Thomas Mennonite Church, Thomas Mills; Teamsters Local
  110.  Observed 43rd wedding anniversary on April 4, 1996. Retired batchman
  for Centre Concrete. Johnstown, with 30 years of service Since his
  retirement, Kevin could be found helping his son at Yaste Greenhouse. Friends
  were received Sunday evening and will he received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell. Viewing also from
  1 p.m. to time of service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas Mennonite Church, the
  Revs. Homer E. Schrock, Donald Speigle and Marvin Kaufman. Interment, church
  cemetery.
