(Bud) Yeckel, 70, of Donegal, died Friday, May 18, 1990, in Frick Community Health Center, Mount Pleasant. Born March 24, 1920, in Mount Pleasant, son of the late Howard H., and Myrtle (Cooper) Yeckel. Member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Donegal, and attended the Valley Brethren Church, Jones Mills. He and his wife were the owners and operators of the Donegal Camp Ground. Member of the Laurel Highlands Chapter of the Harley owners Motorcycle Club; a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Force, and a member of the Mt. Pleasant VFW. Survived by his wife, Betty Monticue Yeckel; a son, Daniel, and a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Patty) Garrity, both of Donegal. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Snyder-Brown Funeral Home, Donegal. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Yoder officiating. Interment, Donegal Cemetery. Jamie Snyder Brown funeral director in charge of arrangements.
