  YELOVICH
  
  Ann M. Yelovich, 79, Central City, loving wife, mother an grandmother, died
  Jan. 31, 1999 at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Feb. 25, 1919, in
  Rockingham, daughter of Michael and Anna (Fatura) Penko. Preceded in death by
  parents, brothers, Joseph, Frank, John and Michael. Survived by husband, Pete,
  of 59 years; children, James, married to the former Patricia Hammer,
  Stoystown, Peter, married to the former Bernice Palya, Central City, Rebecca,
  wife of Joseph Sanzo, Cairnbrook, Karolyn, wife of Ralph Conrad, Portage, and
  Kathleen, Central City; loving grandmother of James, Lisa, Ann Kathryn, Jean,
  Jon, Kristine, Pete, Kim, Joe, Karen, Dawn Marie, Natalie, Tyler, Ronald; also
  5 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Josephine, wife of Anthony
  Palcic, Gowanda, N.Y., sisters-in-law, Julia Penko, Johnstown, Anjela Penko,
  Akron, N.Y., special niece Julianne Sabol, and numerous nieces, nephews,
  godchildren and friends. Close family relationship, with Anthony and Rita
  Nosal and family of Crafton, and Paul and Rose Cherup and family of Taylor,
  Mich. Lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic. Church, Central
  City. First president of the Ladies Guild of St. John's. Active many years
  with Girl Scouts and PTA. Former judge of elections in Shade Township. Member
  of the Sky-Hi Ladies Club for over 60 years. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Tuesday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, where vigil service
  will be recited at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.
  Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Charles
  Bodziak. Interment, parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be
  made to the Somerset In-Touch Hospice, care of Somerset Hospital, Somerset,
  Pa. 15501 in Ann's memory.
