Born Jan. 25, 1928, in Somerset Township. Daughter of the late Irvin and Viola Grace (Spangler) Trent. Also preceded in death by husband, Melvin R. Yinkey, who died April 23, 1970; grandson, David E. Trent Jr.; sisters, Sarah M. Lavan and Ruth J. Trent, and brothers, Lewis P., Ralph I. and Fred J. Trent. Survived by children: David E. Trent, Berlin; Ronald H. Yinkey, married to the former Carol Lyons, Somerset; and Virginia G. Yinkey, Somerset. Also 7 grandchildren, one great-grandson. Sister of John J. Trent, Friedens; Mrs. Harry; (Betty) Lavan, Somerset; Mrs. James (Mary Etta) Williamson, Friedens; Donald D. Trent, Friedens, and Clifford E. Trent, Somerset. Attended Geiger Church of the Brethren. Member of the auxiliary to VFW Post 554 and Aerie 1801, Fraternal Order of Eagles. Employed by Specht Plastics from 1971 until 1987. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Geiger Church of the Brethren, Friedens, with the Rev. Gerald E. Deffenbaugh officiating. Viewing at church from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service. Interment, St. John's Cemetery.
