Yoder, 75, of RD 1, Grantsville, Maryland, died July 21, 1984, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born in Grantsville, Dec. 4, 1908, he was a son of the late Simon Yoder and Catherine J. (Miller) Yoder. He was a member of the Springs Mennonite Church where he had served as a deacon for 41 years and was leader of the men's chorus. He was also past treasurer of Allegheny Mennonite Conference; a retired farmer and a retired machinist from Miller Machine Works, at Springs. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ruth (Cash) Yoder; three sons, Bradley L. Yoder, North Manchester, Ind.; Wayne A. Yoder, Frostburg, and Keith S. Yoder, Winchester, Va.; and a daughter, Mrs. Avon Good, Lima, Ohio; a brother, Owen Yoder, Berlin, a sister, Mrs. Vernie Maust, Meyersdale, and nine grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home. Services were conducted in Springs Mennonite Church with the Rev. Steven Heatwole and the Rev. Earl Yoder, officiating. Interment, Springs Cemetery.
