Yoder, 84, 468 Niverton Road, Salisbury, died Jan. 4, 2008, at his home. Born Aug. 15, 1923, in Grantsville, Md., son of the late Albert U. and Sadie (Kinsinger) Yoder. Preceded in death by son, Joseph B; and infant son and infant daughter, Rachael; four brothers, Pete, Clarence, Wilber and Lewis; two sisters, Vernie Beachy and Nancy Hertzler. Survived by his widow, Miriam S. (Zook) Yoder, whom he married Nov. 28, 1946; sister-in-law, Nancy, widow of Joseph B. Yoder; two sons, Noah B. and wife, Fannie, both of Salisbury; and David B. and his wife, Lena, Friedens; 23 grandchildren; and 41 great- grandchildren; three sisters, Emma Slabuagh, Effie Beachy and Annie Peachey. He was ordained a minister April 30, 1950, and became Bishop May 7, 1961. Friends are being received at the home. Funeral service is at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the Niverton Amish Church with Bishop Eli N. Brenneman in charge of service. Interment Niverton Amish Cemetery under direction of the M.
