  Dorothy E.R. Yoder, 79, of Friedens died March 30, 2001, at Somerset
  Hospital. Born May 20, 1921 in Friedens, she was the a daughter of Lewis M.
  and Mary (Stutzman) Rayman. She was preceded in death by her parents, and, a
  brother Claude James Rayman. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gene
  Davis Yoder Sr.; daughter Diane E. married to Albert Hoop, Westwood, Calif.;
  son, Gene Davis Jr., married to the;  former Debra S. Swank, Somerset;
  grandchildren, Amy Lynn Malijen, Wesley Morgan Christner, and Tamara Ann
  Yoder; six great-grandchildren, sister Ann married to Wayne Darr, Berlin, and
  brothers: Robert, married to the former Doris Long, Somerset; Wayne, married
  to the former Mickey Gillingham, Fred, married to the former Nancy Hauger,
  Neil, married to the former Ver Nae Shaffer, all of Friedens, and a loving
  friend, Cindy Lensbouer, Friedens. She was a retired clerk from the Register
  of Wills Office, Somerset County Court House, and was a secretary for the
  law firm of Brougher, Keim and Saylor of Somerset. She was a graduate of the
  former Somerset Township High School, Class of 1939, also of the former Iron
  City Business School of Pittsburgh. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran
  Church and a former Stoystown Lioness. Family will receive. friends from 7 to
  9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Friedens Lutheran
  Church, with the Rev. Edward V. DeVore officiating. Interment, Friedens
  Lutheran Church Cemetery.
