    Edwin C. Yoder, 80, of Manassas, Va., died Monday, April 7, 2003, at Prince
  William Hospital, Manassas.
    He was a son of the late Claude E. and Olive (Tice) Yoder.
    Mr. Yoder was a member of Manassas Assembly of God, Bristow, Va. He was a
  loving husband and a faithful father who directed his children's paths in the
  way of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
    Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Elva B. Yoder; five children: Miriam
  Elaine Beachy and her husband David W., Manassas; Stanley E. Yoder and his
  wife Brenda, Nokesville, Va.; Sanford M. Yoder and his wife Shirley, Bristow;
  Marlin J. Yoder and his wife Lola, Nokesville; and George W. Yoder and his
  wife Barbara, Manassas; two sisters: Esther Swartzentruber, Grantsville, Md.;
  Elsie Schrock, Smyrna, Ga.; one brother, Henry Yoder, Mt. Joy; 11
  grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be conducted at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A.,
  Grantsville, Md., at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 11, with the Rev. John
    Yoder officiating. Interment will be in Springs Cemetery.
