Ellsworth A. Yoder, 65, Salisbury, passed from this life, March 18, 2007, at Meyersdale Medical Center, Meyersdale. Born on Dec. 16, 1941, he is preceded in death by his parents Olen M and Amy (Dolan) Yoder. He is survived by his wife, Jane (Wright) Yoder; one son, Richard Yoder and wife, Deanna, Springs; two daughters, Amy Yutzy and husband, David, Meyersdale; Becky Smith and husband, Mike, Accident, Md.; four grandsons, Jeff Smith, Alex Smith, Shane Yutzy and Scott Yutzy. He is also survived by three brothers, Kermit, Virgil and Anthony Yoder, all of Accident; three sisters, Rosanna Yoder and Evalena Giron, both of Accident; and Vandora Chappa, San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is a 1961 graduate of Northern Garrett High School. He served his voluntary 1W Service in Phil Haven Hospital, Lebanon. He was employed by Bowman's Milk Transport of Accident, and International Trailer Inc. of Meyersdale. He was a truck driver for more than 40 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Wilhelm Church and was an organ donor. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Newman Funeral Homes, P. A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md, where a service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Ivan J. Maust and the Rev. Tom Holliday officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Wilhelm Cemetery.
