Yoder, 97, of Salisbury, died April 1, 1987, at the Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md. Born April 1, 1890, in Elk Lick Township, daughter of the late Emmanuel and Sarah (Livingood) Yoder. Besides her parents, also preceded in death by a brother, George; two sisters, Bertha and Gertrude; and a nephew, John. Survived by four nieces and two nephews: Mrs. Ruth L. Scott, and Mrs. Olive Brightbill, both of Somerset; Mrs. Mary Phillips, Windber; Mrs. Florence Zapp, Nashville, Ill.; William Yoder, Dayton, Ohio; and George C. Yoder, Greeley, Col. Member of the Salisbury church of the Brethren. A former school teacher and secretary, and an inspiration to all who knew her. Friends will be received Friday from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre officiating.
