Yoder, 79, Glades Pike, Berlin, died July 16, 2005, at home after a valiant battle with cancer. Born June 15, 1926, in Stonycreek Township, son of Sherman and Mildred (Sevits) Yoder. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Gerald and Dean Yoder and sister, Mary Baltzer. Survived by his wife of 57 years, the former Ida Koch; children, Jeffrey, married to the former Jenny Kinsella, Berlin; Douglas, married to the former Deb Weigle, York; and Jennifer S. Yoder, at home; grandchildren: Cory and wife, Suzanne; Chad and wife, Jennifer; and Joel and Jerika Yoder; great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Jacob and Jorydn. Brother of Elwood "Pee Wee," Ashland, Ky. Attended Shanksville-Stonycreek High School. Retired dairy farmer and truck driver. Life member and deacon of Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren. Member of Pike Cemetery Association Board. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Kenneth Davis and the Rev.
