  Gerald L. Yoder, Shanksville, died suddenly Jan. 13, 1987, at his residence.
  He was born in Stonycreek Township, son of Sherman H. and Mildred (Sivits)
  Yoder. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Dean. Survived by his wife,
  the former Sally McRoberts; and these children: Susan Gratz, Houston, Pa.;
  Mrs. Charles (Gretchen) Hatalsky, Jersey Shore; and Mrs. Gary (Gerry Gwen)
  Phillips, Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren. Brother of: Elwood of Ashland,
  Kentucky; George, Berlin RD 1; and Mary Bushing, Holiday, Fla. Brother-in-law
  of Herbert Summerfield, Allison Park. Self-employed milk transporter for
  Galliker's Dairy for 40 years. Member Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren
  and Stoystown Lions Club for 30 years. Family will receive friends 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be
  held at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Patricia Ramsey and the Rev. Harold
  Ringler. Entombment, Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, Pa. Lions service Thursday at
  7:30 p.m.
