Born Nov. 3, 1928, in Coal Run, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Jerry and Alverta (Stevanus) Stevanus. She was also preceded in death by two husbands David T. Yoder, July 22, 1963 and Albert R. Yoder, March 1, 1996: two sons, Donald L. Yoder and an infant; one granddaughter, Laura Peck; one sister, Mabel Stevanus; and one brother, Dewey Stevanus. Survived by five daughters, Mrs. Bradley (Penny) Mason, Mrs. David (Patricia) Knopsnyder, Mrs. Steven (Tammy) Hoover, all of Meyersdale; Mrs. Steven (Teresa) Trau, Margate, Fla., and Mrs. Scott (Roberta) Peck, Fort Hill, Pa.; two brothers, Clifford J. Stevanus, Somerset, and Martin W. Stevanus, Confluence; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Member of Salisbury Church of the Brethren. She was a homemaker. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md., where services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, with the Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard, David and John Mason, Barry Jacobs, Dan Haines and David Knopsnyder Jr. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to either Salisbury Church of the Brethren or Somerset "In Touch" Hospice.
