YODER, Ida R.  

Ida R. Yoder, 79, Whispering Pines, Somerset, died Aug. 6, 2007. Born Nov. 15, 
1927, in Somerset, a daughter of Henry and Susan (Fleegle) Koch. Preceded in 
death by parents; husband, George Yoder; brother, Henry Koch; and sister, Anna 
Mae Stahl. Survived by children, Jeffrey Yoder, married to the former Jennifer 
Kinsella, Berlin; Douglas Yoder, married to the former Debra Weigle, York; 
Jennifer S. Yoder and her beloved dog, Molly, Somerset; grandchildren, Cory and 
wife, Suzanne; Chad and wife, Jennifer, and Joel and Jerika Yoder; great- 
grandchildren, Kimberly, Jacob and Jordyn. Attended Somerset High School. Life 
member of Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren. A housewife for 57 years, 
devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Family will receive 
friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, 
where a service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Kenneth Davis and the 
Rev. Owen Preston officiating. Interment Brotherton Pike Cemetery. Memorial 
contributions may be given to Hospice AseraCare, Regency Square, Old Route 220, 
Suite 203, Altoona, PA 16602.
