"Barney" Yoder, 72, of RD 1, Grantsville, Md., died Friday, Feb. 6, 1987, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born in Grantsville on Jan. 29, 1915, he was the son of the late Ezra and Savilla (Beachy) Yoder. He was a retired farmer and a member of Springs Mennonite Church. Surviving are his widow, Salome (Bontrager) Yoder; three sons, James Yoder, New Holland; Jason Yoder, Cleveland, Ohio, and Joseph Yoder, Grantsville; three daughters, Mrs. Marietta Farlow, West Lake, Ohio; Mrs. Marlene Tice, Boynton; and Judith Yoder, at home; three brothers, Walter Yoder, Meyersdale; Rufus Yoder, New Holland, and Christ Yoder, Grantsville, Md.; two half brothers, Cloyd Yoder, Meyersdale, and Floyd Yoder, Accident, Md.; two sisters. Mrs. Anna Yoder, Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. Sarah Yoder, Meyersdale; one step sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Yoder, Meyersdale; three half sisters, Mrs. Elsie Schrock, Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Pauline Schrock, Fairfax, Va., and Mrs. Freda Yoder, Mount Joy, and seven grandchildren. Friends were received in the Newman Funeral Home. Services were conducted in the Springs Mennonite Church Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Steven Heatwole. Interment, Maple Glen Cemetery.
