JOSEPH YODER

  Joseph Yoder, 70, of Berlin R.D. 2, died Thursday afternoon, May 15, at his 
home after an illness of several weeks.  He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth 
(Boyer) Yoder, a son, Sherman Yoder, and these brothers and sisters - William, 
Cyrus, Samuel, Harry and Hiram Yoder, all of Friedens; Mrs. Sadie Zerfoss and 
Mrs. John Pyle, Somerset, and Mrs. Harry Zerfoss, Friedens.  Two children, Mrs. 
Merle Mostoller and Mary Yoder, preceded him in death.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the 
Sherman Yoder home by Rev. Martin Foutz, pastor of the Mizpah Lutheran Church, 
assisted by Rev. H. Q. Rhoads, pastor of the Brotherton Church of the Brethren.  
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Somerset, under the direction of J. N. 
Johnson & Son, Berlin morticians.
