Yoder, 62 Friedens RD 1, died Oct. 4. 1983, in Somerset. He was born July 3, 1921, in Baltimore, Maryland, son of the late Abraham and Nellie (Hawn) Yoder. He is survived by his wife Edith (Hampe) Colflesh; and two daughters: Mrs. Karen Yoder and Peggy, both of Cleveland, Ohio. Also three brothers: Albert and Arthur Yoder, both of Salisbury; and Charles Yoder, of Glen Burnie, Md.; and one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Bluebaugh, Lakemore, Ohio; and 15 step-children: Mrs. Roman Yoder, Grantsville, Maryland; Mrs. George Sutton, Tampa, Fla.; Mrs. Richard Lassinger, Somerset; Mrs. Michael Short, Salisbury; Mrs. Jerry Shultz, Meyersdale; Mrs. Joan Summers and Mrs. Dorothy Sharp, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Michael Byrne, Frederick, Md.; Mrs. David Trent and Mrs. Lewis Trent, both of Friedens; Mrs. Clair Swank, Somerset; Homer Colflesh, Garrett; Daniel Colflesh, Shanksville; Thomas Colflesh, Waynesboro, Pa.; and Russell Colflesh, Friedens. Three grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Meyersdale VFW. Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral services were held with the Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
