Yoder, 55, Friedens RD 2, died May 30 in his residence. Born in Stonycreek Township March 27, 1920. A son of Hiram and Sadie Trent Yoder. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers in infancy, one sister Mrs. Wilbur Foster, and one brother Orville, who was killed in WW II. Survived by his wife Lillian Lewis Yoder and these children: Kenneth L., Somerset RD 1; Debra, wife of Vernon Yoder, Niles, Ohio; and Michael M., at home; two granddaughters and these brothers and sisters: William, Chambersburg; Royden and Mrs. James Fieg, Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Curtis Emerick, Stoystown RD 3; and Mrs. Ada Oakman, Somerset. He was a member of Reading Brethren Church, a veteran of WW II, and Somerset VFW Post 554. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Saturday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset where services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. with The Rev. Larry R. Weigh officiating. Interment, Mizpah Cemetery. Somerset American, May 31, 1975
