Yoder, 44, of Boswell RD 1, dead on arrival June 9. 1975, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born October 27. 1930, in Somerset County, the son of Richard P. and Gertrude (Walker) Yoder. Survived by parents, Boswell RD 1; widow, the former Jane M. Baker; and three sons: Michael P., Mark D. and Joseph L., all at home. The brother of Dwayne F. married to the former Mary Annette Miller of Carlisle, Pa. Member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Boswell, where he served on the church council; for numerous terms; Somerset Lodge 358 F&AM; Harrisburg Consistory; Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite; and Shrine, Jaffa Temple, Altoona. Was a past president and very active member of Boswell Lions Club. Also a member of Boswell Post 461 American Legion. Veteran of Korean War having served in the US Navy. Was an avid sportsman and member of numerous sportmen's organization among which was the Boswell Athletic Sportsmens Asso. Was a Nationwide Insurance agent since 1960. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, with Rev. George A. Clark officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Masonic service at 0 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and graveside military rites by Boswell American Legion.
