  YODER
  
  Richard P. Yoder, 73, of Boswell RD 1, died Nov. 17, 1976 at home. Born June
  21, 1103 in Jenner Township, son of Joseph and Gertrude Sowerbrower Yoder.
  Preceded in death by parents, a son, Paul J., who died June 9, 1975; a
  sister, Bessie and a brother Robert E. who died Feb. 12, 1975. Survived by
  his widow, the former Gertrude Walker; a son, Dwayne S., married to the
  former Mary Anette Miller of Carlisle. Brother of Verda, widow of Robert
  Begley and Donald, married to the former Reita Hemminger, both of Boswell RD
  1; Edna Yoder of Hollsopple RD 1; Sara, widow of Henry Ash of Friedens RD 1;
  Joseph, married to the former Ellen Guhl of Tulsa, Ok.; a daughter-in-law,
  Mrs. Jane Yoder of Boswell RD 1; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
  He was a very active member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Boswell. Was past
  president of the church council on which he served a number of terms; past
  superintendent of the Sunday school; and was a member of the Friendly Bible
  class. He was employed for many years by the former Vincent Chevrolet Co.
  Jerome, and was owner and operator of Yoder's Garage add Farm Implement Sales
  at Jenner Crossroads for 25 years. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday
  and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home,
  227 Allegheny St., Boswell. Funeral service . . . state until time of service.
  No viewing at the church. Family requests those who may desire to make
  contributions in memory of Mr. Yoder to St. Andrew's Church. Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
