  YODER 
  
  Russell E. Yoder, 87, of (Summit Mills) Meyersdale, went to be with the Lord
  Tuesday evening, Oct. 27, 1998, at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born Dec. 28,
  1910, in Summit Mills. A son of the late Mahlon and Eva (Faidley) Yoder. Also
  preceded in death by a son, Clifford, and three brothers: Jacob, Warren and
  Billy. Survived by his wife, the former Mary I. Firl. They celebrated 68
  years of married life on Aug. 21, 1998. Also survived by 5 children: Linda,
  wife of Bruce Baker, Wilmington, Del.; Russell L. Yoder. Cumberland, Md.;
  Perry L. Yoder, married to the former Alice Klink; Roger A. Yoder, married to
  the former Joyce Brenneman, and Clark O. "Babe" Yoder, married to the former
  Barbara Rougeux, all of Meyersdale. Eight grandchildren: Sharyn and Scott
  Baker, Wilming ton, Del.; Elizabeth Ann Yoder, Martinsburg, Pa.; Kevin Yoder
  Davidsville; Michele Inks, Meyersdale; Melanie Love, Pittsburgh Rachel Yoder,
  State College, and Randy Yoder, Meyersdale. Two great-grandchildren: Tiffany
  and Jessica Baker, Wilmington, Del., and two brothers: Donald D. Yoder,
  Somerset, and Paul Jackson Yoder, Meyersdale. Navy veteran of World War II,
  serving in Guantanamo Bay. Retired from Queen City Dairy with 32 years of
  service in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Friends will be received from 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Service will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Summit Mills Grace Brethren Church, where the
  body will lie in state from 10 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Albert G.
  Valentine officiating. Interment, St. Paul Wilhelm Cemetery. In lieu of
  flowers, memorials may be made to the Summit Mills Grace Brethren Church
  Foreign Missions.
