Born July 3, 1941, in Stonycreek Township, a son of Bruce Levere and Dorothy Catherine (Leazier) Yoder. Preceded in death by mother. Survived by father of Shanksville; children, Scott A. Yoder, married to the former Heidi Regan, Somerset; Mrs. Joshua (Angela) Glessner, Phillipsburg; and Kimberly Yoder, Meyersdale; grandchildren, Brandon, Alyssa and Seth Yoder, Savannah and Dustin Glessner; also brother and sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Mary Lou) Ansell, Vermillon, Ohio; Elwood Yoder and wife, Sherry, Somerset; and Mrs. Elwood (Carol Lee) Kimmel, Berlin. A 1959 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School. A member of Faith Lutheran Church. Life member of the Somerset Volunteer Fire Department. Also a member of FOE Aerie 1801, VFW Post 554, Berlin Legion Post 0455 and New Baltimore Sportsmens. Samuel worked as a machinist for the former DeVilbiss retiring in 2003. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hauger- Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, and one hour prior to the service at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, Somerset. The Rev. Kenneth M. Diable officiating. Interment Mizpah Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Somerset Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 121, Somerset, PA 15501 or Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 223 S.
