Yoder, 90, of Springs, died Sept. 16, 1996, at Goodwill-Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md. Yoder was born Feb. 18, 1906, in Springs. She was the daughter of the late Ed and Mable (Dennison) Maust. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George E. Yoder, and son, Jay Yoder. She is survived by a son, Edward D. Yoder, Street, Md.: three grandchildren: Jeffrey Yoder, Judy Soya and Debra Harkins; and four great-grandchildren. Yoder was a member of the Springs Mennonite Church. She was a homemaker and retired custodian at the Springs School. A member of the National Arbor Society. Yoder was also a member and former corresponding secretary for the Springs Historical Society. She worked with school children and conducted field study in botany and nature. Friends were scheduled to be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 (today), at the funeral home, with Rev. Steven Heatwole officiating. Interment, Springs Cemetery.
