Warren suffered an attack of rheumatic fever two years ago and this affected his heart. He never completely regained his health, suffering intermittently from enlargement of the heart, each spell becoming more severe. He last took his bed Jan. 9 and from the beginning of this confinement he suffered with unusual severity, which held out little hope of recovery. He was of an usually bright and lovable disposition and will be sadly missed in his home, school, Sunday school, mission class, and the entire community. Between the occasions of his suffering he made every effort to attend his school, where he always led his class. His inclination led to religious principles, too, and he was earnestly engaged in reading his testament as long as his strength permitted before his last call came. Besides his parents, he is survived by five brothers, Russell, Jacob, Donald, Billy and Jack, also grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Faidley and Jacob D. Yoder, besides a large circle of other relatives. The numerous floral tributes attested the high regard of the people for Warren and his family. As Rev. Kieffer justly said, "to know him was to love him." The members of the family expressed themselves as very appreciative of the help received during the period of their bereavement, also for the floral tributes and use of friends' cars for the funeral.
