Yoder, 73, of Grantsville RD 1, Md., died Sunday, April 26, 1987 in his home. Born in Garrett County, Md., May 6 1913, he was the son of the late John U. and Mary J. (Kinsinger) Yoder. He was a farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church of Niverton. Surviving are his widow, Emma J. (Yoder) Yoder; three sons, John Yoder, Springs; and Rufus Yoder and Norman Yoder, both of Grantsville, Md.; one daughter, Lizzie Yoder, Grantsville, five brothers, Menno Yoder and David Yoder, both of Meyersdale; Milton Yoder, Middlebury, Ind.; Rudie Yoder, Crofton, and Noah Yoder, Grantsville, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Katie J. Yoder, Meyersdale, and Lydia J. Yoder and Fannie J. Yoder, both of Grantsville, Md. and 12 grandchildren. Friends were received in the home of Emma J. (Yoder) Yoder Monday. Services were conducted in the Niverton Amish Church Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. by Bennie A. Yoder. Interment, parish cemetery. Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, was in charge of arrangements.
