The cause of her death was cancer. She was a daughter of Jackson and Margaret Diefenbach Stanton of Garrett County, Md., and the wife of Henry Yommer, and is survived by her father, now a resident of Frances, Wash., also by her husband, and the following children: Lawrence Yommer and Mrs. Melissa Stanton, of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Gladys Smith of Grantsville, Md.; Walter, of Cumberland, Md.; Clyde, of Jennings; Mrs. Mary Shives of Frostburg, Md. Three sisters also survive - Mrs. Katherine Davis of Somerset, Pa., Mrs. Barbara Charron of South Bend, Wash., and Mrs. Lizzie Grell of Frances, Wash. Funeral was held last Sunday at 10:30 a.m., at the Jennings Lutheran Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Kern. Interment was in the Grantsville Cemetery, under the direction of Mortician Stanley M. Thomas, of Salisbury, Pa. Meyersdale Republican, May 30, 1940
