  JOHN L. YOMMER
  
    John L. Yommer, 105, of Star Route, Grantsville, Md., died October 15,
  1983, at the Good Will Mennonite Home.
    He was born Aug. 20, 1878 in Jennings, Md., and was a son of the late
  George Yommer and Elizabeth (Witzgall) Yommer. He was preceded in death by
  his wife, Abbie (Beachy) Yommer, in 1970.
    He was a charter member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Jennings, a retired
  saw miller and the oldest living resident of Garrett County.
    Surviving are brother, Dan Yommer, Grantsville, and a number of nieces and
  nephews.
    Services were conducted in the Newman Funeral Home by the Rev. David
  Rockwood. Interment was in Grantsville Cemetery.
