Born Aug. 19, 1919, in Hooversville. Son of the late Michael and Catherine (Pasnak) Yonish. Beloved husband of the late Marie E. (Rovnyak) Yonish. Dear father of Larry P. (Susan), Thomas D. and Charles E. Yonish. Brother of Alex, John, George, Pauline Zahm, Thelma Stopko and Rosemarie Dejack. Grandfather of Bryan A. and Sara E. Yonish. A U.S. Navy WWII veteran. Retired machinist and local UAW Representative, who enjoyed baseball, hunting and fishing. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, with Msgr. Samuel Tomaselli officiating. Interment in the Listie Catholic Cemetery. Wake services will be held at 8:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Daily American, April 8, 1994
