  YOUNG
  
  Carl W. Young, 73, of Somerset, died July 22, 1985, Mercy Hospital,
  Johnstown. Born Oct. 15, 1911, in Somerset Township, son of the late John W.
  and Anna (Stutzman) Young. Also preceded in death by a brother, Leroy, and
  sister, Gladys Stanley. Survived by his wife, the former Alma Singo; son,
  Barry of Stoystown; grandchildren, Lee Ann and Carl; and a brother, Jay of
  Shanksville. Member of Faith Lutheran Church, the FOE, and the Mountain Field
  and Stream Sportsmen's Club. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at
  the Richard E. Hanger Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m.
  Thursday, the Rev. Charles Hartbauer officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery.
