  Hulda Croyle Young, 82, 422 Allegheny St., Boswell, died evening of Oct. 19,
  1984, at home. Born Nov. 1, 1901, in Fannettsburg, Pa., daughter of Daniel
  and Mary Ann (Fleegle) Myers. Preceded in death by parents; first husband,
  Roy Croyle; second husband, John Young; several infant children; five
  sisters: Jennie Dinges, Minnie Spangler, Lissie Shaulis, Nellie Snowberger
  and Beulah Hertzog; three brothers: Elmer, Clarence and Charles. Survived by
  one daughter, Letha, wife of Jack Dowdy, Westland, Mich.; one granddaughter,
  Pamela Manier; two great-grandchildren; also two step-grandchildren, and two
  step-great-grandchildren. Member of Laurel Mountain Senior Citizens and
  Auxiliary to Boswell Post 461, American Legion. Friends were received Sunday
  evening and will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral
  home, Main St., Boswell, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the
  Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes and the Rev. Art Roxby officiating. Interment, Thomas
  Mennonite Cemetery. Memorials to Windber Hospital Hospice would be
  appreciated.
