  IDA M. YOUNG
  
    Ida Marie Young, 71, of Berlin RD 4. died June 17, 1978, at Somerset
  Community Hospital. She was born March  3, 1907 in Meyersdale, a daughter of
  Thomas and Susan (Moore) Dixon.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leroy C. Young, who died
  in February, 1978; three brothers and four sisters; one grandchild and one
  great-grandchild.
    She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Dorothy Piell of Stoystown RD 3
  (Indian Lake) and Mrs. Thelma Smith of Palmetto, Fla.; and three
  grandchildren: ETN 2 Kenneth S. Piell Jr., USN, Scotland; Penny Ann and
  Leonard Jay Piell of Stoystown RD 3 (Indian Lake); one great-grandchild and
  one brother, Leo Dixon of California.
    She was a member of the Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren.
    Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home in Berlin where
  services were held with the Rev. Owen Preston officiating. Interment was at
  Brotherton Pike Cemetery.
