  YOUNG
  
  Samuel W. Young, 65, of Somerset RD 1, died June 8 in Somerset Community
  Hospital. Born Sept. 8, 1912, in Bedford, son of Harry and Mary Lowry Young.
  Survived by his wife, Hilda Mitchell Young of Somerset RD 1; two sons, Lloyd
  and Robert, both of Somerset RD 1; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Tharp of
  Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Thelma Livengood of Somerset RD 1 and Debbie at home;
  two brothers, Clyde of Hopewell, Pa. and Robert of McConnellstown, Pa.; three
  sisters, Mrs. Virginia Gearhart of Bakersville, Mrs. Janet Hemming of Somerset
  and Mrs. Stella Swauger of Grantsville, Md.; nine grandchildren. Preceded in
  death by his parents and one brother, George. He was a member of the United
  Mine Workers of America. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood
  Funeral Home, Rockwood, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Friday) where services
  will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Don Judy officiating.
