Born April 3, 1924, in Kelso, Pa. Son of Margaret Berkebile Tooland of Somerset and the late Louis Younker. Survived by his mother, his wife, the former Lois R.M. Bowser, two children: Mrs. Donald (Joyce) Bowser, Somerset R.D. 2, and Duane Arthur, Somerset R.D. 6; and two grandchildren: Bryan and Katrina. Brother of Mrs. Mildred Ludy of Mays Landing, N.J.; Mrs. Clyde (Jean) Mostoller, Somerset, R.D. 1; Richard Baker, Somerset R.D. 1; and Robert Baker, Edie. Younker was a United States Navy WW II veteran, a member of American Legion Rockwood Post 279, & Disabled American War Veteran of Cumberland, and a retired Rockwood businessman. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Friday in Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Blough officiating.
