ALVA YOUNKIN

  Alva Younkin of Upper Turkeyfoot Township, died on Friday, November 11th of a 
complication of diseases, aged 34 years, 3 months and 10 days.  He was born in 
Upper Turkeyfoot Township, July 31, 1898, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jonas 
Younkin.  He was united in marriage with Miss Blanche Hutzell of Meyersdale on 
August 5th, 1922.  To this union four children were born.  In addition to his 
wife and children he is survived by one brother and two sisters.  Funeral 
services were conducted Sunday afternoon, Nov. 13th, at 2 o'clock in the 
Kingwood Church of God by Rev. Tantlinger.  Interment was made in the Younkin 
Cemetery.  Mills and Mickey of Rockwood were the funeral directors.
