YOUNKIN Gladys Christena Younkin, 33, died suddenly Friday evening, Jan. 9, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Younkin, Grantsville, Md. She suffered a heart attack shortly after noon on Friday and passed away within a few hours. She was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Younkin and was born at Grantsville, Aug. 18, 1908. Besides her parents, she leaves two sisters, Ruth Younkin, Pittsburgh, and Mary Younkin, at home, and three brothers, Harry and Walter Younkin, Grantsville, and Clarence younkin, Pittsburgh. Rev. L. A. Wagner, pastor of the Accident Lutheran Church, conducted funeral rites at the home Sunday afternoon, followed by interment in the Grantsville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Luther Huff, Harry Huff, Cecil Stanton and Frank Klotz. Ruth Younkin, Pittsburgh; Clarence Younkin, Baltimore, and Mr. and Mrs. Truman Bittinger, Oakland, were among those from out-of-town who came to attend the service.
