HENRY YOUNKIN

  Henry Younkin, 83, died suddenly of a heart attack last Wednesday at the home 
of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Greer at Maple Summit where he had gone to visit.
  He was the son of the late Jacob and Kathryn (Faidley) Younkin of Meyersdale.  
When a young man, Henry married Ida Hyatt who preceded him in death by 30 years.  
Since her death, Mr. Younkin made his home with his children.
  He is survived by two sisters, Sadie Gerhard, Meyersdale; Emma McClintock, 
Connellsville; one brother, Calvin, Confluence; six children: Clarence, Monroe 
Falls, Ohio; Mrs. Martha Ohiler, Kingwood; Mrs. Margaret Johnson, Mrs. Frank 
Greer, Maple Summit; James and Joseph, Confluence; also 70 grandchildren, 30 
great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren, a total of 112 
descendants.
  Funeral services were held Saturday in the Jersey Baptist Church, with Rev. 
Duman officiating.  Interment was made in the Jersey Cemetery under the 
direction of C. B. Humbert.
