He was a son of the late Cyrus and Ellen Younkin and was born in Grantsville 45 years ago. He is survived by his wife and eight children, named William, Harold, Ralph, Robert, Earl, John, Evelyn and La Verne, all residing in Akron, O. He is also survived by four brothers and two sisters - Richard, Milton, Thomas and George, and Cora Younkin and Mrs. Charles Messersmith, Chester, Pa. He moved to Akron, O., three years ago. He was a member of the Grantsville Methodist Church and Grantsville Camp, No. 41, Woodmen of the World. The funeral will be held in Grantsville, the date to be announced upon the arrival of the body here. Meyersdale Republican, January 7, 1932
